Posh Pet Boutique is an upscale pet boutique owned and operated by Debbie May. This very unique store offers pet owners trend setting items, all natural foods and treats, and luxury products and accessories for their furry friends. A knowledgeable staff will be on hand at all times to assist customers with their needs and questions. It is our desire to create memorable experiences and lasting relationships with our customers. We will try our best to provide you with the best possible service.
Owner: Debbie May
Debbie has always had a great love for animals. This business opportunity has offered her a combination of things she loves ~ Pets, Fashion and Design. After acquiring her loveable French Bulldog "Ruby" she was on a quest to find her beloved dog fashionable clothing, collars and accessories. The Traverse City local market just didn't have the quality and the selection she desired. After a few years of shopping around the country and online Debbie decided to open her own pet boutique. Debbie is a registered dental hygienist by profession. She graduated from Ferris State University. After working in the dental field for 16 years she was ready for a career change. Debbie then took a job working with animals. She has worked for Cherrybend Animal Hospital for the past few years as a dental hygienist. It has given her the opportunity to learn about caring for animals and veterinary medicine. Debbie has seen what lengths people go to for their cats and dogs. She hopes to share her compassion for pets with pet owners by offering them items that will help pamper their pets with luxury, comfort and safety.

Debbie is married and has a wonderful family. They all helped to make this dream possible for her. Her husband is Jim May and her children are Christine and Adam May. Christine will be working in the store part time. In addition to their French Bulldog Ruby they also have a Siamese cat named Jafar and a Ragdoll cat named Maximus and two twin sugar gliders.
